Dillon Beach: Birthday Bash

For my Mom's 50th in February, we rented a beach house on Dillon Beach for a few days.  This is just an abbreviated post, due to the lack of pictures taken during the trip.

In the summer of 2014, Brandon, my mom and I went on a month road trip, where we covered 16 different National/State Parks over 11 different western states. Gained an appreciation for the beauty of the US, super cool.

Provo Canyon: Fall Colors

I've been super busy lately with midterms over that past couple weeks, so by the time I made it up to Provo Canyon for the fall colors, a large percentage of the leaves had already fallen.  Luckily there was still enough to get a few pictures, so here's a short post dedicated to that beautiful decaying chlorophyll.

Arches National Park: September

Decided to take an overnight trip by myself down to Arches National Park for the new moon on the 12th. (Because I figured there might be some good astrophotography opportunities) The trip reminded me as to why Arches is one of my favorite national parks.

Hiking the "Y" at Night

Hey look I'm in college.  A few other people and myself decided to go and hike the Y at night. Got a little cold at the end, but was lots of fun.  This is a very short post, but I figured I'd share a few pictures anyways.

Point Reyes: August

My mom and I took one last trip to the coast before I set off to college.  These photos are from our hike out to Tomales Point.

Yosemite Valley: August

Hey look at that, back in Yosemite.   Absolutely love it there, its beauty never ceases to amaze me.  My dad was kind enough to take a weekend off and take me hiking; and after over 30 miles and 19,000 feet in elevation change we summited Glacier Point/Sentinel Dome and El Capitan.   I was also given the opportunity to try out some night photography when we drove to Glacier Point late at night.
